Faster fade back

Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses return from a dark to a clear lens faster than ever, providing 35% faster fade back than the previous generation(9).

Visual comfort when driving

Standard photochromic lenses activate when exposed to UV. Modern windscreens block UV light. Transitions XTRActive lenses darken behind the windscreen of a car because of the unique technology they have, which responds to visible light, as well as UV, to protect your eyes from glare and sunlight while driving.

Extra dark lenses outdoors

Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses are extra dark outdoors, and the darkest photochromic in hot temperatures. They are also the only photochromic lens to achieve a category 3 level of darkness when it's hot - the same level as the most commonly worn sunglasses(7). Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses are the darkest photochromic lens in the car, helping to protect your eyes from bright sunlight while driving(8).

EVERYDAY EYE CARE

Light is essential for our vision and our overall well-being. Part of the light spectrum that enters our eyes can be a contributing factor of eye diseases such as cataracts and AMD(2). Transitions technology blocks 100% UVA and UVB light rays and selectively filters and harmful Blue-Violet light indoors from modern light sources, and outdoors from the sun. Your new Transitions lenses will help contribute to your overall eye health.
