Varilux National Advertising Campaign

Following the success of our 2007 HD Ready Eyesight campaign, we’re pleased to let you know that our HD Ready national TV advertising campaign has returned once again to our screens. The 2008 TV campaign started on 3rd March and will run right through to the end of August 2008.

Last year’s campaign proved a great success at driving consumers to doineedaneyetest.com where they could take a quick online test to see if they’d benefit from visiting you - the Varilux Specialist Optician.

This year we are testing the current TV ad against an age specific version aimed at ITV3 & 4 viewers aged 45+. The campaign will again be supported by interactive TV.

doineedaneyetest.com is constantly being updated and will receive a facelift in the autumn with the additional of new information relating to eye health.

A prominent feature on the site is the the ‘Optician Finder’ section which consumers can visit to find details of their nearest VSO.

So far this year the campaign has to generated a lot of interest and we are  proud to be able to support you once again with this initiative.
