Since its launch in 1959 Varilux has gone from strength to strength in terms of design and innovation. The Varilux range of lenses, protected by many patents has been incredibly successful, for example. Varilux Ellipse is the fastest growing varifocal for small frames in the UK.

Thanks to new calculation and surfacing technology we are now able to control the rear surface of the lens, eliminating any additional aberrations resulting from the wearer’s prescription.

Using these techniques, we are able to retain the optimum performance of existing Varilux designs such as Varilux Ellipse to ensure the maximum visual performance regardless of the wearer’s prescription.
