Physiological Visiotest
THE SOLUTION TO ASSESS THE VISUAL PERFORMANCE OF PROGRESSIVE LENS WEARERS |
|
Compliance with physiological axis, patient comfort boasting a stylish, modern design, the Physiological Visiotest fits perfectly in a doctor’s office or in an optical practice. The ergonomic design of the Visiotest reproduces natural vision conditions by presenting tests in two sight axis:
3 Distance Vision
3 Near Vision
This layout respects the vision from physiological and ergonomic points of view. The distance vision tests are presented at a distance of 5m and those for near vision are at a distance of 30cm and at a 30° angle, in relation to the distance viewing axis.
The 30° angle between the two axis makes it possible to:
• reach the stabilised addition zone for most progressive lenses.
• stay within the ‘near vision’ zone for lenses with a short corridor.
• avoid testing vision beyond the frame, for wearers of small frames.
• test patients with varifocals.
• have a comfortable lowering angle for non-wearers.
The Visiotest offers an examination protocol based on 12 tests done on high quality, high-precision photographic film. A unique lighting system provides a constant and homogeneous level of luminance that doesn’t vary over time.
