HR Administrator



We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our team to provide a high quality and efficient HR and training administration service across a full range of HR processes.  The successful candidate will provide basic advice on policies and procedures to managers and employees, support payroll and undertake administration.

Duties will include:

  • Providing first line advice on HR policies and procedures, escalating as necessary

  • Developing and maintaining a full and accurate HR system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data.

  • Supporting the Payroll Team when necessary to ensure payroll data is input accurately and in a timely manner

  • Undertaking all HR administration processes including recruitment advertising, managing applications, organising interviews, maternity and paternity leave administration, conducting inductions, maintaining personnel files, conducting exit interviews and issuing contracts and offer letters

  • Undertaking continuous improvement activities relating to HR policies and processes

  • Maintaining and developing standard HR letters, templates and forms

  • Ad hoc duties as required

  • Preparing monthly and ad hoc management information reports

Person Specification

  • Previous HR administration experience (2 years)

  • Proven experience of devising and maintaining administrative systems and procedures

  • Knowledge of HR systems

  • Able to work independently and using own initiative

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Efficient, enthusiastic and flexible

  • Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team
